Generals

Generals are not perfect but they are willing to die for the King.

"You must pay the price if you wish to secure the blessing."

- George Washington, General and President

"Hold fast to the Bible. To the influence of this Book we are indebted for all the progress made in true civilization and to this we must look as our guide in the future."
- Ulysses S Grant, General and President

"You cannot defeat an enemy you do not admit exists."

Generals

in the Bible

  • Noah - spent approximately 100 years building an ark when everyone around him though he was crazy. His obedience saved humanity and animals.

  • David - was a General on the battlefield and in his personal life with a heart after the Father. He wasn't perfect but when he messed up he repented.

  • Esther - had a life altering moment to save her people. Being that brave probably meant she'd faced some hard things before.

  • Elijah - defeated the prophets of Baal. He then hid in fear in a cave. He then came out of the cave and finished strong.

  • Proverbs 31 woman - had a reverent fear of the Lord. She worked hard, fed her family well, stewarded her home in authority and knew how to serve and lead.

  • Paul - was a General first for the opposition and then for Jesus.
